Music

I've been making music for as long as I can remember. For a few years it was all I did — writing, producing, performing, composing for feature films, picking up international songwriting awards, performing with Grammy winners. Music was the career, and everything else was the thing I did to support it.

Aural Mural

Aural Mural is an acoustic duo with Sneha — covers and originals. We've played Sofar Sounds Bangalore and a bunch of other gigs around the city. Some of it is on SoundCloud.

Slidey Business

A solo slide guitar project. Lap steel, resonator, open tunings. Mostly instrumental, sometimes not.

The Academy

In 2015, Sneha and I started The Academy — a creative space in Bengaluru. Part music school, part studio, part community. We taught, we produced, we hosted.

Working with kids there, being around education, being steeped in Indian music and storytelling — the gap between what Indian children were consuming and what their world actually looked and sounded like became impossible to ignore. That's where KUTUKI came from.

AI + Music

These days I'm building tools for music production — things that analyze tracks, suggest arrangements, generate MIDI based on music theory. Some tracks I'm producing with AI tools like Suno, some without. The interesting part is figuring out where AI is genuinely useful in a creative process and where it gets in the way.

The music never really stopped — it just changed shape. KUTUKI was music-first by design. The pedagogy was rooted in songs and rhythm. And now the tools bring AI into the process in ways I find genuinely interesting.
